Is the Free plan really free?+
Yes — up to 3 users, 500 MB of storage, no card required and no time limit. It is a real plan, not a trial.
Which plans include a free trial?+
The Pro plan includes a 14-day trial. If you have not added a payment method by the end, the workspace moves to the Free plan — your data stays, but features above the Free tier lock until you upgrade. Business and Enterprise are paid up front and do not include a trial.
Can I change plans later?+
Any time, in both directions. Downgrades are checked against your current usage first — if you have 20 users, we will tell you before dropping you to a 3-user plan rather than silently locking people out.
Who in my company can change the subscription?+
Only the workspace owner or someone you explicitly grant billing permission to. Ordinary members — and even executive-level roles — cannot upgrade, downgrade or cancel. This is deliberate: your team should not be able to change what your company is billed.
Do we get our own domain?+
Every workspace — including Free — gets its own address at yourteam.techgeneses.com. That is how your workspace is reached, so it is never withheld. Using your own domain instead (tasks.yourcompany.com) is available on Business and Enterprise.
Where is our data stored?+
Every workspace gets its own separate database, not a shared table. Enterprise plans can additionally be provisioned on dedicated infrastructure.
Do you offer annual billing?+
Yes — annual plans are billed at eleven months, so one month is effectively free.
Can we migrate from ClickUp, Jira or Trello?+
Yes. Get in touch and our team will help you import projects, tasks and users as part of onboarding.
